Salford University Student Celebration – Presentation of OETT award

Lydia Odai has been awarded the OETT Orthotic Student of Year 2026 at Salford University. Lydia has not only achieved outstanding results throughout her degree, including an amazing 100% in Biomechanics, she went beyond what is expected by voluntarily representing the university in a variety of activities outside of her studies – Lydia has been a student helper at university open days and an ambassador and advocate for the Prosthetics & Orthotics profession at public engagement events and during other extra curricula activities.

Feedback from her clinical placements was exceptional because of Lydia’s phenomenal work ethic and dedication to evidence-based practice.
