Strathclyde student of the year award

Liam’s nomination detailed his excellent grades (85%+) in his orthotic based honours project and also the fact that he has been elected as a class representative, engaging with staff and students about pertinent issues.

His thoughtfulness, maturity and responsibility were particularly noted by tutors which, along with his orthotic grades makes him a worthy recipient of the annual OETT / Elaine Figgins award at Strathclyde university.

Liam commented: “I am delighted and grateful to receive this award and would like to thank OETT. Receiving this award has strengthened my motivation to continue developing my knowledge and skills as I begin my career in orthotics. I look forward to using what I have learned to help patients achieve the best possible outcomes, supported by the excellent opportunities for continuing professional development that OETT provides.”
